TLC will present its version of the US Airways flight that landed on the Hudson River when doc "Brace for Impact" premieres Jan. 10.
Hourlong, narrated by Harrison Ford, examines the highly applauded performance of Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger when he landed his jet on the Hudson only a few minutes after takeoff from nearby La Guardia Airport.
In the doc, Sullenberger re-creates the Jan. 15 flight and reunites with the original crew.
TLC, which has recently shifted toward food-related programming, rarely offers docs that examine public events. In the summer, it aired a special about the Somali pirates.
