LONDON -- ITV Studios Global Entertainment, the international wing of the British commercial broadcaster, has upped Richard Life to head of acquisitions and co-productions.
Emmanuelle Namiech, director of acquisitions and co-productions, is to quit this month after more than a decade at ITV.
Life, who joined ITV from Channel 4 Intl., will lead the team responsible for sourcing, developing, managing and funding content for the international division.
Recently acquired fare includes Icon Films' "River Monsters," BBC sitcom "Miranda" and the co-funding of Canadian drama "Murdoch Mysteries," made by Shaftesbury Films.
Upcoming highlights for ITV Studios Global Entertainment include the U.K. premiere of the co-funded AMC/ITV Studios drama "The Prisoner" and new factual series "Breakout" (Raw TV) and "Future Food" (Gala Film).
