Screen Gems has locked down Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester as its cast of country singers in "Love Don't Let Me Down," which Tobey Maguire is producing.

Production on the drama is set to start in January in Nashville.

Pic, which Shana Feste wrote and will direct, revolves around a rising young singer-songwriter (Hedlund) who becomes involved with a fallen country singer, to be played by Paltrow. As they embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband and manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester), romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.

Maguire will produce with Jenno Topping through their Maguire Entertainment shingle.

Paltrow most recently played Pepper Potts in "Iron Man" and will reprise the role in next summer's sequel.

McGraw most recently co-starred opposite Sandra Bullock in "The Blind Side" and has also appeared in "Four Christmases," "The Kingdom" and "Friday Night Lights." Hedlund headlines Disney's remake of "Tron," while Meester is a regular on the CW's "Gossip Girl." She stars in Screen Gems' upcoming thriller "The Roommate" and Fox's "Date Night."
