"Pasqua," produced by Branislav Srdic, was selected for the development funding by a jury at the fifth edition of the fest sidebar.
The producer also benefits from free accreditation to the Producer's Network at Cannes in May and the chance to present the project to the Sofia Meetings industry event at the Sofia Film Festival in March.
A special mention went to "Odyssey of a Vagabond Princess," written and directed by Altinai Petrovic Njegosh and produced by Janja Kralj of Shilo Films, France. Initiative Film will grant the project development consultancy.
In other awards, the Mediterranean Film Institute Script 2 Film Workshops gave a full scholarship to Syrian-French project "Damascens," written, directed and produced by Rana Kazkaz and Anas Khalaf, and a partial scholarship to "The Judgment" written, directed and produced by Stefan Komandarev of Argo Film, Bulgaria.
