LONDON -- Brit sales company Protagonist Pictures has closed deals on a number of territories for helmer Jonathan Lynn's "Wild Target."

Pic, which stars Bill Nighy, Emily Blunt, Rupert Everett and Rupert Grint, has been acquired by Icon for Australia and New Zealand, Moonlight for Benelux, DDDream for China, Atlas for Germany, Ascot Elite for Switzerland and Leda for Latin America. Jaguar has taken airline rights with deals for Italy and Scandinavia.

Pic had already been acquired for France, Portugal, Middle East, and the CIS and Baltic States.

Cinetic is handling North America with a U.S. deal believed to be imminent. E1 has taken the film for Canada.

Martin Pope and Michael Rose of Magic Light Pictures are producing the pic, which follows a beautiful con artist who finds herself pursued by an assassin. CinemaNX and Isle of Man Film have co-financed the pic, along with Entertainment Film Distributors, as well as Matador Film and Cinema Four in association with Regent Capital.
