Fox News said the interview on Monday's edition of "The O'Reilly Factor" will cover Dobbs' resignation from his longtime cable home and his views on immigration, which stirred controversy and likely hastened his exit from CNN.
Dobbs visit with O'Reilly is sure to fuel speculation that Dobbs might be bound for a gig at the channel or its Fox Business Network sibling, but Fox News' PR reps were quick to reiterate the statement issued after Dobbs' surprise resignation on Wednesday:
"We have not had any discussions with Lou Dobbs for Fox News or Fox Business."
