Anne Bogart's SITI Company, scribe Charles L. Mee and the Martha Graham Dance Company team up to present a new version of Graham's "American Document," while the Cassavetes redux comes from conceiver-designer-director Doris Mirescu.
Gotham performance artist Peggy Shaw and Brit troupe Clod Ensemble will examine at Shaw's experiences with the medial establishment in "Must -- The Inside Story," while in "Space Panorama" performer Andrew Dawson recreates the 1969 moon landing using only his hands.
Along with offerings at Off Broadway's Public Theater, fest shows at other venues include a return engagement of Pig Iron Theater Company's well-received "Chekhov Lizardbrain" and acrobatics show "Once and For All We're Gonna Tell You Who We Are So Shut Up and Listen," which recently played Los Angeles.
Under the Radar runs Jan. 6-17, timed to coincide with the annual conference and showcase of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters.
