'Curse' heads to Off Broadway

Casella's comedy set for spring run

Martin Casella’s comedy “The Irish Curse” will get a commercial Off Broadway run in the spring, opening at the Soho Playhouse in March.

Play — about a group of Irish-American men bemoaning their sexual under-endowments — bowed at the Gotham Fringe Fest in 2005 and also played the Edinburgh Fringe in a 2006 production that transferred to a Dublin run.

Sarahbeth Grossman and Craig Zehms produce the show, which begins previews March 17 ahead of a March 28 opening. Matt Lenz helms, with casting to be announced.
