The creator-exec producer of the AMC/Lionsgate TV drama had planned to spend some of his "Mad Men" hiatus helming his first feature, a romantic comedy that he wrote during his "Sopranos" days. "You Are Here" has lined up indie financing and a marquee-friendly cast that includes Jennifer Aniston, Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis.
But skedding issues with the timetable for production on "Mad Men's" fourth season has forced a postponement of the project, though the principals are understood to be committed to juggling their skeds to make it work in 2011. "Mad Men" exec producer Scott Hornbacher and Keith Addis are also on board the project as producers.
"You Are Here" is separate from the blind feature commitment that Lionsgate made to Weiner as part of his two-season renewal deal for "Mad Men" in January. Weiner said he's just starting to kick around ideas with Lionsgate execs for that project, which he will write and direct.
