De France joins Damon in 'Hereafter'

"Hereafter," penned by Peter Morgan, tells the story of three people who are touched by death in different ways. De France, whose credits include "High Tension" and "Russian Dolls," will portray a French journalist who has a near-death experience.
Principal photography began last month on "Hereafter," produced by Eastwood, Kathleen Kennedy and Robert Lorenz. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall, Peter Morgan and Tim Moore are the exec producers.
Filming will take place in Paris, London, Hawaii and San Francisco. Pic is slated for release in December 2010.
Damon stars opposite Morgan Freeman in Eastwood's "Invictus," the true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa's underdog rugby team to help unite their country. "Invictus" is set to open Dec. 11.
