Directed by Alessandro Capone, the film stars Isabelle Huppert, Greta Scacchi and Melanie Laurent ("Inglourious Basterds"). Pic, from Cristali Pictures, preemed at the Toronto Film Festival.
Story centers on a middle-age woman, played by Huppert, rebounding from the trauma of an unsuccessful suicide attempt; she discovers the source of her problem lies in her dysfunctional relationship with her daughter.
The film was released in France and Italy during the summer and is one of Cinema Epoch's first acquisitions as it branches into the arthouse/foreign-language market.
