Jon Marans’ play “The Temperamentals” will have its third Off Broadway incarnation in February, with thesps Thomas Jay Ryan and Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty”) returning to appear in a run at New World Stages.
Show about the pre-Stonewall gay rights movement proved popular in an initial studio run in April and went on to play a larger Off Broadway theater over the summer in an extended engagement.
Exactly which space “Temperamentals” will play at the multivenue New World Stages remains to be determined. Production, helmed by Jonathan Silverstein and produced by Daryl Roth and Stacy Shane, will begin previews Feb. 18 and open Feb. 28.
