Erspamer to take CCO role at OWN

15-year vet to report to Norman

"Oprah Winfrey Show" co-exec producer Lisa Erspamer will move to her boss' emerging network, OWN, as chief creative officer beginning in January.

Erspamer, a 15-year vet of Winfrey's Harpo Prods., will report to OWN chief executive officer Christina Norman as she attempts to create and develop programming across all platforms with Winfrey's voice.

"I value her passion and sensibilities and trust her instincts and judgment," Winfrey said.

Erspamer assumed co-exec producer responsibilities on "Oprah" in 2006.

"This is an injection of Oprah's DNA into OWN," Norman said. "Lisa's years of experience in crafting content for the 'Oprah' show will be invaluable to us as we build this new multi-platform media venture."

OWN is scheduled to launch next year on what is currently Discovery Health Channel.
