Warner eyes 2010 for Asian linear channel

TV lineup to include 'Gossip Girls,' 'Mentalist'

WarnerTV, a linear television channel featuring Warner Bros. programming like "Gossip Girl" and "The Mentalist," is slated for a launch in Asia in 2010.

Also showing "The Big Bang Theory," "Fringe," "Dark Blue" and "Southland," WarnerTV's lineup includes shows and films specifically selected for Asian audiences. HBO is handling distribution for the new channel, and following Warner Bros.' success with Warner Channel Latin America, is aiming for an early 2010 debut.
