'Sunny' enters syndie market

Sitcom cleared for 45% of the country

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is moving beyond the City of Brotherly Love.

The Twentieth TV sitcom recently entered the syndie market and has been cleared in 23 markets in about 45% of the country.

Skein has been cleared on Tribune stations in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.; Fox stations in Chicago, Phoenix and Minneapolis; CBS stations in Philadelphia, Atlanta and Dallas; and Sunbeam's Boston's station.

"Sunny," set to debut on syndication in fall 2011, has seen a ratings resurgence in its fifth season on FX.
