The 2010 season of Lincoln Center's American Songbook program will showcase work from legiters such as Jeanine Tesori, Martha Plimpton, Michael Friedman and Rebecca Luker as well as music acts, including Marianne Faithfull, the Dirty Projectors and Suzanne Vega.
Also on the lineup is a tribute concert to music producer Hal Willner, which will include perfs from Rufus Wainwright and Bill Frisell, among others. Jazz performer Dee Dee Bridgewater, meanwhile, will present a tribute to Billie Holiday.
Nellie McKay (singing Doris Day), Chita Rivera, St. Vincent, Leslie Uggams and two of the founding members of Los Lobos also have spots in the Songbook season, which runs Jan. 13-March 6 at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.
