Lorber Films acquires 'Home'

Pic is Switzerland's Oscar selection

'Home,' helmed by Ursula Meier, opens Nov. 27 in Gotham.

Lorber Films has acquired Isabelle Huppert starrer "Home," Switzerland's Oscar selection.

Pic, directed by Ursula Meier, preemed at Cannes and first unspooled stateside at MoMA's "New Directors/New Films." Lorber will open the film in New York on Nov. 27 at Cinema Village, followed by a national roll-out. "Home" follows the travails of a middle-class family who live near a desolate highway under repair.
