The Joyce employees designated Local One, the stagehands’ union that includes Broadway workers (among others), as their reps.
Vote was 12 to 0, according to the union, with one ballot voided.
Union filed a petition with the NLRB last month after requesting voluntary recognition of the union as the stagehands’ collective bargaining agent.
Local One aims to start contract negotiations with Joyce management soon.
