TruTV has picked up eight hours of the untitled series, which will look at life inside the Vegas county jail. John Langley and Morgan Langley are exec producers.
It's a return to the clink for both Langley and TruTV, which previously collaborated on "Inside American Jail" (which also ran on MyNetworkTV as "Jail").
"We've always loved Las Vegas as a venue," Morgan Langley said. "And Las Vegas is truly America's jail -- it's got the most exciting officers and the coolest characters and stories. So we figured, why not do a show all about Vegas?"
Langley said the facility -- the official name is the Clark County Detention Center -- gets a unique mix of criminals alongside vacationers whose Vegas partying got out of hand.
Project, which has the working title "Las Vegas Lockdown" -- is set for a January bow.
"This series is a perfect chance for people who may never set foot inside a jail to see what life is really like behind bars," said TruTV exec VP-general manager Marc Juris.
Besides the Langleys, TruTV's Jessica Shreeve is also exec producing, while Robyn Hutt is the exec in charge of production.
