The kudo will be presented at the Dec. 10 awards ceremony at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong.
Lam is vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Film Development Council.
Media Asia has produced or co-financed more than 60 Chinese-language films, including "If You Are the One," "The Warlords," "The Assembly," "Confession of Pain" and the "Infernal Affairs" trilogy that spawned Martin Scorsese's 2006 remake, "The Departed."
Media Asia also handles a library of some 150 features. It has entered into output agreements with leading television stations in Asia and has also formed joint ventures with China Film Group and Shanghai Film Group for film distribution in China.
