Former ABC exec Ray Ricord has been named VP of development at Fineman Entertainment.
Fineman is behind "Lights Out," which was recently ordered to series at FX.
At the company, Ricord will be charged with developing new series for cable and broadcast, as well as feature films. Fineman has an overall deal at Fox TV Studios.
Ricord, who will report to president Ross Fineman, was most recently a drama current exec at ABC. He also spent time in the longform department at the Alphabet and at ABC Family, Disney Channel and ABC Studios.
"We share a lot of the same taste as well as an approach on how to develop," Fineman said. "Ray and I just clicked."
