Imagem — which has offices in London, New York, Berlin and the Netherlands — will represent the catalogs of the band and its individual members, as well as Rutherford’s group Mike & the Mechanics.
Active since 1967, Genesis — originally a top progressive rock band fronted by Peter Gabriel — became a major international pop act in the ’80s and early ’90s. Group’s hits included “Invisible Touch” (which hit No. 1 in 1986), “Land of Confusion,” “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight,” “In Too Deep” and “I Can’t Dance.”
Imagem has also acquired a 50% share of Collins’ solo publishing. Copyrights include such U.S. and U.K. chart-topping tunes as “Against All Odds,” “Sussudio,” “One More Night,” “Another Day in Paradise” and “In the Air Tonight.”
