Reliance film arm fills new CEO post

Sanjeev Lamba a 15 year media vet

Reliance Big Pictures, whose parent company Reliance Big Entertainment pacted with DreamWorks, has tapped Sanjeev Lamba as CEO, a new position. Chief operating officer Mahesh Ramanathan also had been acting as CEO.

Lamba was previously COO of Zee's film arm. He is a media vet of 15 years working in ad agencies, movies and vidgames. His resume includes stints at Disney in Hong Kong, Tokyo and California and the Weinstein Co. in New York.

Upcoming for Reliance Big Pictures is Bollywood pic "Kites," starring Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori.
