The season will feature Irving Berlin's "Annie Get Your Gun," Bob Merrill's "Carnival" and Frank Loesser's "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." The Berlin and Loesser shows have never been staged at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn.
Directors, casting and dates are yet to be announced.
The theater presented "Carnival" in 1986. The 1961 show has never received a Broadway revival, while the Berlin piece was last seen on the Rialto in 1999 with Bernadette Peters, and the Loesser show was revived in 1995 with Matthew Broderick.
A Goodspeed spokesman said the org has an understanding that its rights to stage "How to Succeed" will not be impacted by the recent news that Daniel Radcliffe will be in a New York reading of the show in December. That production will be directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford and is being packaged as a potential Broadway revival.
