'Spamalot'
The road tour of "Monty Python's Spamalot" will close on Sunday in Costa Mesa after 1,435 performances and 3½ years, with a cumulative gross of $170,586,675 and a total audience of about 2.5 million.
The Tony-winning tuner also went through a number of surprising perishables: six King Arthurs, 8,610 pounds of confetti and 1,464 fire extinguishers (used to make the Feet of God prop "blast off"). The show's catapults lifted a total of 64,575 pounds of cow, and its actors clapped together 1,850 coconuts.
