Starring Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zack Galifianakis, series launched Sept. 20. Sunday's episode drew a series high 1.1 million viewers in its initial telecast.
It's the cabler's third renewal of a freshman show this year as it already has given pickups to "Eastbound & Down" and "Hung."
"Bored to Death" follows the fictional Jonathan Ames, who delves into the world of being a private detective while also trying to write his next book.
Skein is exec produced Ames, Sarah Condon, Stephanie Davis, Dave Becky and Troy Miller.
