CBS Studios shows sell to Scandinavia

Viasat secures deals for 'NCIS: LA,' 'Top Model'

STOCKHOLM -- CBS Studios Intl. has sold free TV rights to "NCIS: Los Angeles" to Viasat Broadcasting for Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

The series, which premiered in the U.S. on Sept. 22, will air on TV3 in the three countries in the spring.

Viasat Broadcasting, owned by media giant MTG, also holds the rights to the original "NCIS."

CBS Studios Intl. and Viasat have also renewed the Scandi deals for a string of series, including "America's Next Top Model," "Dr. Phil," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "The Doctors," "Everybody Loves Raymond," "King of Queens" and previous seasons of "Star Trek: The Next Generation."

Viasat recently secured free TV rights to a broad range of current and library films from NBC Universal Television Distribution.
