Canal Plus 'Bolts' with kids' show

Paybox picks up animated comedy series

SEOUL -- Paybox Canal Plus has picked up the broadcasting right of CJ Entertainment's animated comedy series "Bolts and Blip," which it will air in the spring.

Deal will be inked at Mip Junior, which starts in Cannes on Saturday.

It also includes a pre-sale to Canal Plus' digital cable network Teletoon.

CJ Entertainment co-produced the series with Toronto-based ToonBox Entertainment in April.

The 3D HD series is an adventure story about two friends who are drafted into the Lunar League of Robotic Sports.

The 26-episode series is among the 15 shows shortlisted for the first Mip Junior competition, which will be judged by a jury of 18 kids from the Intl. School of Nice.
