AMC's 'Prisoner' to air on Nov. 15

Remake of cult classic to run over three nights

Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen star in AMC’s remake of ‘The Prisoner.’

AMC's remake of 1960s cult classic "The Prisoner" will launch Nov. 15. With a cast led by Jim Caviezel in the title role and Ian McKellen as controller of the "Village" that holds him captive, "Prisoner" will air from 8-10 p.m. on three successive nights. Ruth Wilson, Hayley Atwell, Jamie Campbell-Bower and Lennie James also star.

Nick Hurran directed "Prisoner," with Bill Gallagher scripting. AMC co-produced the project with Granada and ITV. Granada Intl. is distributing the series worldwide.

AMC has been offering all 17 episodes of the original "Prisoner" online.
