Lopez will oversee all business and legal affairs for FremantleMedia North America, the production company behind "American Idol," "America's Got Talent," "The Price Is Right" and "Family Feud," among other shows.
She'll report to Donna Redier-Linsk, who was recently tapped chief operating officer.
"Suzanne's expertise has played a key role in helping build our U.S. division," FremantleMedia North America CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz said.
Lopez was most recently senior VP; she first joined FremantleMedia in 2004. Before that, she worked in various business affairs and legal positions at Artisan Entertainment, working on features including "The Blair Witch Project" and "Pi."
