The AFI Awards, which record each year's achievements in film and television, will be announced Dec. 13. Submissions for the film category will be accepted until Nov. 6, while TV submissions are due Oct. 30. Each category will then be judged by a 13-member AFI jury. The juries will also select up to five moments of significance recognizing events during the year.
The creative teams behind the 10 AFI Movies of the Year and 10 AFI Television Programs of the Year will be honored at a Jan. 15 luncheon.
