Johnson and Jackson will play super cops in the pic helmed by Adam McKay. Coogan is set as the villain.
The thesps join stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg. "Other Guys" is set to bow Aug. 6.
Johnson and Jackson will play an elite cop tandem whose exploits are the envy of the department and the second-tier fellow cops played by Ferrell and Wahlberg.
Scripted by Chris Henchy and McKay, the film is a co-production between Gary Sanchez Prods. and Mosaic.
Johnson is the lead voice in the upcoming Sony animated pic "Planet 51," and next stars in the Fox comedy "Tooth Fairy." Jackson just wrapped "Iron Man 2." Coogan is coming off "Night At the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" and is filming "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief."
