Net sets premiere date for two new comedies

Shows will bow Monday with "Date" at 6 p.m. and "Popzilla" at 6:30 p.m.
"Date," from exec producers Sally Ann Salsano, Joel Zimmer and Pam LaLima, is a hidden-camera show in which people will set up their friends on fake, horrific blind dates. The dates last 60 minutes -- and the unsuspecting marks will get a dollar for each minute they last.
The animated sketch series "Popzilla," meanwhile, parodies pop culture headlines of the moment. Dave Thomas, R.J. Fried, Tim Hendrick, Jared Miller and Kevin Pedersen exec produce.
