NBC is developing a put pilot from Jerry Bruckheimer set inside a unit charged with tracking fugitives.

"Cold Case" scribe Jennifer Johnson is set to pen the untitled project, which she'll also exec produce, alongside Bruckheimer and Bruckheimer TV topper Jonathan Littman.

Warner Bros. TV, where Johnson recently sealed an overall deal, is the studio. If picked up to series, the untitled actioner would rep Bruckheimer's first entry at NBC since 2005's ill-fated "E-Ring."

Also attached to the procedural is KristieAnne Reed, who will serve as co-exec producer.

Johnson joined "Cold Case" four years ago as a supervising producer, working her way up to co-showrunner last season. Her credits also include "Lost" and "Providence."

Bruckheimer's busy upcoming slate includes the launch of ABC's "The Forgotten" on Sept. 22, as well as CBS' midseason entry "Miami Trauma."
