@FoxBroadcasting is bringing Twitter to primetime this week, via repeats of #glee and #fringe.

Cast and producers from both shows will log on to Twitter during airings of both shows (which Fox has dubbed "tweet-peats"); those tweets will then be simultaneously telecast in a lower-third scroll on Fox.

Viewers will also be able to follow and RT (that's Twitter-speak for "retweet") ongoing commentary via the cast and crew members' individual Twitter accounts.

Fox is airing last season's penultimate episode of "Fringe" at 9 p.m. Thursday, while it will rebroadcast the "Glee" pilot at 9 p.m. Friday.

Participants include "Fringe" exec producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman, as well as stars Joshua Jackson and John Noble.

"Glee" cast members Lea Michele, Kevin McHale, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer all plan to tweet.

According to Fox, the participants will answer fan questions, discuss behind-the-scenes info and tweet about the upcoming season.
