Cast cohesion in Rialto's 'Ragtime'

Show to arrive on B'way with much of lead cast

'Ragtime' revival, well received at the Kennedy Center, begins previews at the Neil Simon Theater Oct. 23 ahead of a Nov. 15 opening.

The Kennedy Center production of "Ragtime" will arrive on Broadway this fall with much of its lead cast from D.C. intact, including Ron Bohmer ("The Woman in White"), Christiane Noll ("Jekyll and Hyde") and Bobby Steggert ("110 in the Shade").

Quentin Earl Darrington, Eric Jordan Young and Donna Migliaccio are also among the thesps reprising their KenCen roles on the Rialto.

New to the ensemble are Stephanie Umoh ("Tin Pan Alley Rag") in the role Audra McDonald originated in the show's 1998 Broadway preem, Robert Petkoff ("Monty Python's Spamalot") and Savannah Wise, recently of "Rock of Ages."

Thesps are part of a 40-member cast directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge. The revival preemed in April in D.C., where it received glowing reviews.
