'Addams' adds to family

Broadway musical starts previews on March 4

Tony-winning lighting designer Natasha Katz (“Aida,” “The Coast of Utopia”), maverick puppeteer Basil Twist and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell (“Company”) have joined the creative team of “The Addams Family,” the upcoming Broadway musical based on Charles Addams’ iconic cartoon clan.

Starring Nathan Lane as Gomez and Bebe Neuwirth as Morticia, the show begins performances Nov. 13 in its tryout engagement at Chicago’s Oriental Theater. Broadway run starts previews March 4 for an April 8 opening at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater.
