Rupert Grint starrer "Cherrybomb" and four other pics will bow Stateside at the Los Angeles Irish Film Fest, held Sept. 23-27.
Directed by Lisa Barros D'Sa, "Cherrybomb" is a thriller that tells the story of two best friends in Belfast who partake in illegal activity to win the affection of a troubled beauty. Pic also stars Kimberley Nixon and Robert Sheehan.
Also making their U.S. bows are "Peacefire," the debut feature from helmer-scribe Macdara Vallely, "Gabriel Byrne: Stories from Home," "Identities" and toon "The Secret of Kells."
Previously announced supernatural drama "The Eclipse," starring Ciaran Hinds and Aidan Quinn, kicks off the fest. A screening of "DA," in tribute to the late Irish playwright Hugh Leonard, is set as the closer.
