Tune will bring his new road show, "Steps in Time, a Broadway Biography in Song and Dance," to Gotham in a one-night-only benefit for Friends in Deed, the Mike Nichols-founded org that provides support for those suffering from life-threatening illnesses.
Backed by the Manhattan Rhythm Kings, Tune will perform his autobiographical show Sept. 21 at John Jay College in Manhattan.
In November, Peters will headline a concert with a 30-piece orchestra as a benefit for legit charities Broadway Barks and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
"Bernadette Peters: A Special Concert for Broadway Barks Because Broadway Cares" is set for Nov. 9 at the Rialto's Minskoff Theater ("The Lion King").
