Walton Goggins

Thesp Walton Goggins ("The Shield") has joined the cast of the "Straw Dogs" remake, which already includes James Marsden, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard. He will play Daniel, the protective brother of Niles (Dominic Purcell).  

Rod Lurie wrote and will direct the remake of the 1971 Sam Peckinpah film that starred Dustin Hoffman. Production will commence Aug. 17 in Shreveport, La. Goggins just finished filming the indie "Damage."
