According to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, NBC opened Tuesday with solid ratings for a repeat of "America's Got Talent" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) and then logged the night's top numbers for its two-hour original episode of "Talent" (3.5/10 in 18-49, 12.7 million viewers overall). The Peacock talent show has consistently been the top series of the week in both demos and total viewers.
Elsewhere, ABC's "Superstars" ended its run with a whimper (0.9/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall), actually coming in below its recent averages with an extended 90-minute episode. It was followed by a repeat of "Scrubs" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 1.7 million viewers overall) and the net's top program of the night, newsmag "Primetime: Family Secrets" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall).
At Fox, "Hell's Kitchen" (3.1/11 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) dipped a bit week to week but dominated the 8 o'clock hour in key demos, leading in to week two of "More to Love" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall), which was in line with its OK week-earlier debut.
CBS was paced by "Big Brother" (2.3/7 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall), which continues to gradually build its audience, and by a repeat of "NCIS" (1.7/6 in 18-49, 9.4 million viewers overall). It continues to be slow going, meanwhile, for repeats of "Medium" at 10 p.m. (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall) behind "Big Brother."
CW did little as usual on the night with repeats of "90210" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 0.9 million viewers overall) and "Hitched or Ditched" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.1 million viewers overall).
