Cast set for 'Othello'

Production runs Sept. 12-Oct. 4

Saidah Arrika Ekulona (“Ruined”), Gaius Charles (“Friday Night Lights”) and Jessica Chastain are among the thesps who will appear with Philip Seymour Hoffman and John Ortiz in “Othello” this fall.

Cast -- including Liza Colon-Zayas, LeRoy McClain and Julian Acosta -- appeared in the Peter Sellars-helmed production in Vienna in June, and will reprise their roles in Gotham in a short run presented by the Public Theater.

Ortiz plays Othello to Hoffman’s Iago in the show, with Chastain cast as Desdemona.

Production runs Sept. 12-Oct. 4 at the New York U.’s Skirball Center.
