Rhode Island fest honors Borgnine

Thesp feted with lifetime achievement award

Ernest Borgnine, who is still appearing in films and TV shows at 92, will be feted with a lifetime achievement award at August's Rhode Island Film Festival. Borgnine's 199th film, "Another Harvest Moon," will premiere at the fest.

The drama co-stars Piper Laurie, Anne Meara and Doris Roberts and is directed by Greg W. Swartz. Borgnine and other cast members will appear at the fest on Aug. 7.

The 13th edition of the event runs Aug. 4-9 in Providence and other locations. Borgnine was nominated for an Emmy last week for his guest performance in "ER."
