Python members Idle, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam will all appear in the Blighty staging, which will play Royal Albert Hall this fall.
The “comedic oratorio,” based on 1979 Python pic “The Life of Brian,” bowed in Toronto in 2007 and has since been seen in short runs in L.A., Washington, D.C., and Houston, among other cities. London perf will rep the show’s European preem.
“Messiah” is skedded to play Royal Albert Hall Oct. 23. The Monty Python celebration includes events in Hollywood and Gotham, where the show “An Evening With Without Monty Python” will run Oct. 6-10 at Town Hall.
