'Golden Age' to open Sarajevo

The Romanian film, which consists of six stories directed by Mungiu, Hanno Hofe, Razvan Marculescu, Constantin Popescu and Iona Uricaru, will raise the curtain Aug. 12 for the festival that runs through Aug. 20.
"Golden Age," about the urban myths of the last decade of the Communist Ceaucescu regime, premiered at Cannes this year and will be shown in Sarajevo at gala screenings in both the city's National Theater and the Heineken Open Air Cinema with Mungiu and most other directors in attendance.
