Charlie Murphy (“Chappelle’s Show”) has started working on the “Family Wedding” for Fox Searchlight. Pic stars Forest Whitaker, America Ferrera and Carlos Mencia. Murphy will play the friend to Whitaker’s character.

Past credits include “Mo’ Better Blues” and “Roll Bounce.”
