Lorber opened its first two releases over the Fourth of July weekend: Chilean pic “Tony Manero” and Nigerian movie biz docu “Nollywood Babylon.”
Lorber Films is now the releasing label for Lorber HT Digital -- and that brand’s sub-label, Alive Mind, which specializes in docs with themes of spirituality and enlightenment.
Lorber serves as president and CEO, with Elizabeth Sheldon as the company’s VP of acquisitions and Ray Privett as director of theatrical and fest distribution.
Upcoming releases include Aleksandr Sokurov’s “The Sun,” the final part in the helmer’s “Men of Power” trilogy.
