Endemol Sport puts focus on soccer club

Endemol Sport, the global production giant’s sports arm, will help raise the profile of British soccer club Manchester City globally.

The worldwide cross media partnership will involve entertainment, international programming, online video, press conferences, sports entertainment programming and international syndication. A media hub at the club’s Manchester base will centralize production of match day coverage. Creative agency Poke has designed an online platform for fans in English at www.mcfc.co.uk and in Arabic at www.manchestercityfc@ae.

Manchester City is owned by Abu Dhabi billionaire Sheik Mansour bin Zayed al Nahyan, who has pledged to make the club one of the U.K.’s top four soccer outfits.
