Dramedy, from Shawn Ryan and Ted Griffin, revolves around an ex-cop-turned-private eye. Fox 21 is behind the project, along with Ryan's Midd Kid Prods. shingle.
Brewer directed an episode of Ryan's "The Shield." His credits also include the feature "Black Snake Moan."
Ryan and Griffin exec produce "Terriers," which is set to film in August.
