Untitled skein to air on TNT will focus on Wyle as the leader of a rag-tag group of soldiers and civilians as they struggle against an occupying alien force.
Spielberg, along with Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Robert Rodat, is exec producing. Rodat, who was Oscar-nominated for his "Saving Private Ryan" script, is penning the pilot. DreamWorks Television is producing.
Wyle has a previous relationship with TNT, having starred in "The Librarian" telepics. He also guest-starred on the recently concluded final season of "ER."
